The Cowboys are currently 3-0 in division play with two wins over the Giants and one over Philly. The only loss they have is against the AFC undefeated New England Patriots who has the number one total offense in the NFL with the Cowboys ranked number two.
The only team in the NFC that could possible match or contend with the Cowboys on paper is the Green Bay Packers whose only loss was to the Bears. These two teams will meet November 29th and this game could possibly get the same hype as the Patriots and Colts game.
When I look at this team I see the makings of another Dallas tri-factor. The same tri factor that led to a few Superbowl wins in the 1990’s. Back then it was names like Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin, and Emmitt Smith. Today, the Dallas Cowboys revolve around the same three positions with names like Tony Romo, Terrell Owens, and Marion Barber. I could be wrong but if these key players keep performing the way they are Dallas fans can buy their tickets to Arizona now!

Another interesting post. Who do you think would win the GB/Dallas game? I think GB's loss to a stinky Bears is much worse than Dallas's loss to a still-undefeated team.
I wonder: does your new "trifactor" have the same stats and potential for longevity that the 1990s trifactor had?
Great post! I'm so glad the Cowboys are finally having a good season, for my dads sake. I'm no longer a big football fan but use to love the Cowboys and swore that I was going to be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and marry Troy Aikman.
I dont know if this years team can compare to the legecy they created back then but I'm looking forward to them beating the Redskins this week.
Wow this is a bold prediction. But your stats back it up and I can't really say anything against it. But it will be a tough contest when they play Green Bay. But next the Redskins. Also you should post a blog about the second hottest team in the NFL...... The Buffalo Bills baby.......
Dallas 30 Redskins 10
I have to come out of the gate saying that I like the "look" of your blog. It's very easy on the eyes and the NFL logos stand out nicely on the black background.
Your latest post was well written (very short and to the point). Your comparison to the Cowboys of days gone by and the Cowboys of today was nicely done. If I had to find anything to critisize it would be the lack of supporting comments for your statement, "The only team in the NFC that... on paper... Green Bay Packers". It is, however, a very minor issue since clicking on one of your references brings up the applicable information. Looks great!
I am poor at sport. Especially I have no any idea of football teams and their members in America. When I talk to American friends I am really sorry about my ignorance of football.
Thank you so much, Philly Birds, I can learn about football.
